Fixing a scoreline after the fact

Admin tools. Nothing changes for you unless a match was recorded wrong.

New

  • Goals in a finished match can be corrected: wrong scorer, missing assist, wrong minute.

  • Goals nobody logged at the time can be added afterwards.

  • A match that was played but never started in the app can be entered.

  • The goalkeeper can be changed per match, during it or afterwards. Clean sheets are counted from that.

Changed

  • A goal added late slots back into its own minute in the match report, rather than showing up last.

Fixed

  • The live console on a phone was showing two sets of controls at once, one floating over the other.

Every rating has shifted

MVP awards used to be 20% of your rating, which made it partly a popularity vote. Your rating now comes only from what you do on the pitch, and goals + assists counts for the most.

Clean sheets are the keeper's now

They used to count for the whole team, so outfielders collected them as fast as the keeper. Unless you go in goal, your clean-sheet total is now zero.

New

  • Matches played sits next to your rating, so you can tell a 90 off two games from a 90 off a season.

  • A column beside the rank shows how many places you moved since last matchday. It follows whichever tab you're sorting by.

  • Session pages split into Matches and Statistics, with a top-three podium and a table of what everyone did.

  • That table sorts by any column. Tap G, A, G+A, CS or MP to reorder it.

  • Player profiles split into Overview and Progress, with a rating graph and goals per matchday.

  • A Most Improved award on the season awards page.

  • Players can be subbed in and out mid-session, and only get credit for the matches they actually played.

  • Player names are links almost everywhere. Tap one to see their season.

Changed

  • One player of the day per session, instead of a man of the match for every game.

  • MVP awards don't affect your rating at all.

  • Goals + assists is now the heaviest part of the rating.

  • The sessions list is a clean list of dates again; each row expands for that matchday's leaders.

Fixed

  • Adding a player now warns you if the name already exists, including someone who's been deactivated. That's what was creating duplicates.

  • The admin player list is searchable.
